Meyer Sound's ULTRA-X20 self-powered full-range loudspeaker brings the state-of-the-art ULTRA‑X40 point source technology into a smaller, lighter footprint, ideal for installations and where size and weight are critical Portable application. Whether used as a compact main system or as fill or surround for larger systems, the ULTRA-X20 delivers high power output, low distortion and consistent polar response in any configuration.
Small but powerful,
the ULTRA-X20 measures just 7.5 inches wide, 19.04 inches high, and 8.6 inches deep, yet packs a punch, delivering a peak sound pressure level of 123.5 dB when measured with M-Noise. It features two 5-inch cone drivers and a 2-inch compression driver in a concentric configuration for more consistent pattern control below the crossover point.
Customizable Coverage
Regardless of orientation, the ULTRA-X20 rotatable horn produces precise, even coverage. It is available in three Constant-Q horn variants for optimal coverage in any situation. The ULTRA-X20 has a 110° x 50° horn, while the ULTRA-X22 offers a more controlled 80° x 50° coverage, and the ULTRA-X23's horn offers a wider 110° x 110° coverage.
The ultra-efficient amplifier
ULTRA-X20 is powered by a three-channel 860-watt peak Class D digital amplifier with a sophisticated DSP package including electronic crossovers, phase and frequency response correction filters, and driver protection circuitry. Phase correction electronics ensure flat acoustic amplitude and phase response for superior impulse response and precise imaging.

Don't overwhelm system management: The ULTRA-X20 speakers are compatible with Meyer Sound's RMS platform, allowing you to monitor essential performance parameters directly from your Mac or Windows PC running Compass control software.

up with confidence: The ULTRA-X20's built-in IntelligentAC technology automatically selects the correct operating voltage, suppresses high-voltage transients, filters EMI, and provides soft-start power-up. The ULTRA-X20XP speaker variant features IntelligentDC technology to receive balanced audio and DC power from a single composite cable - eliminating the need for conduit and allowing longer, lighter cable runs.

ULTRA-X20 can be configured with any of three connector panel options. Both AC powered versions feature looping Powercon connectors with 3-pin or 5-pin XLR audio I/O and RMS remote monitoring; the IntelligentDC variant receives audio and DC power over a single cable via its 5-pin Phoenix connector.
